Unlike pet insurance which generally only covers treatments required in reaction to an unexpected illness or injury, our Total Wellnessâ„¢ membership is a proactive plan that includes every aspect of wellness care that pets need every year. Each Total Wellness plan is a 12-month bundle of services like exams and vaccinations, plus access to other member features like our expert chat line so you can stay on top of your pet’s health year-round. Additionally, our members pay a single price regardless of any pre-existing conditions that your pet might have, whereas pet insurance pricing can vary based on the health, breed, and age of your pet. Â
Older pets still require regular exams, preventative healthcare, and vaccines. Total Wellnessâ„¢ membership is a great way to give them everything they need and screen for potential health concerns as they age.
Every pet, regardless of age and health status still needs to be examined regularly by a vet and receive vaccines. Total Wellnessâ„¢ membership is an ideal way to keep them healthy and screen for long-term health concerns, all while saving money at the same time.
Vaccines are tailored to your pet and their lifestyle and include Rabies, DAPPV (Distemper, Parvovirus, Canine Hepatitis & Parainfluenza), Leptospirosis, Bordetella, and Canine Flu Vaccines for dogs. And Rabies, FVRCP (Feline Panleukopenia, Herpesvirus-1 & Feline Calicivirus Feline Leukemia Virus), and Feline Leukemia Virus Vaccines. Preventative treatments covered: fleas, ticks, heartworm, and intestinal parasites for cats.
Vaccines are tailored to your pet and their lifestyle and include Rabies, DAPPV (Distemper, Parvovirus, Canine Hepatitis & Parainfluenza), Leptospirosis, Bordetella, and Canine Flu Vaccines for dogs. Membership includes once-a-year nail trims, anal gland expression (one per visit as needed), and deworming treatment. Other tests included are urinalysis for cats and senior dogs. One nutritional consultation is included as well. Your pets will also receive comprehensive lab screenings including thyroid function evaluation for cats and senior dogs, annual fecal test, heartworm test, ultrasound, ophthalmic evaluation, and FIV/FeLV test for cats only.
Membership includes anal gland expression (one per visit as needed), yearly 1:1 nutritional consultation, 2 fecal tests, heartworm test, 2 deworming treatments, microchipping, and FIV/FeLV test for kittens only.
