The Kimpton Epic Hotel in Miami has no size limits nor additional pet fees. This luxurious hotel sitting on Biscayne Bay will treat your dog like a beloved guest, providing them with treats, their own bowls, and even toys. Located near downtown Miami, if you wanted to go out for the evening and let your pup snooze in the room, so long as they are well-behaved, you are allowed to leave them unattended in the hotel room.
When you’re done getting pampered yourself, you can also treat your pet to a little pampering through the concierge desk who can arrange for pet grooming and even a pet massage.
Mandarin Oriental Miami

When it comes to feeding your pet, the Mandarin Oriental cares about your pup’s health, providing fresh-cooked organic chicken breast. If you’re having some training issue, the hotel provides a doggie boot camp, and also offers a once-a-day free walk. Four Seasons Hotel Miami

You don’t have to go boutique to find the right dog friendly hotel in Florida. The popular hotel chain Four Seasons allows dogs of any size to stay for a visit, with no additional fee. Pets are allowed to stay in the hotel room unattended so that you can go out and enjoy Miami on your own. The location provides a dedicated doggie area, but there are also plenty of parks nearby at Biscayne Bay, and a dog park within close walking distance.

Heading over to Tampa, we have the LaQuinta Inn. This hotel is centrally located near the airport and many of Tampa’s main attractions, including Sunset Beach. Small and medium-sized pets, up to 60lbs, are welcome at this dog friendly hotel with no extra charge, while larger dogs are also welcome with an additional charge. Behind the hotel is a grassy dog walk with areas for your pet to relieve themselves. You can leave your dog behind in the hotel room to go out on the town, but they will need to be crated.

Sitting on along the riverbank just by Tampa’s downtown area is the dog friendly Aloft Tampa. The hotel featuring very up-to-date modern décor, allows two dogs up to 40lbs per room. There’s a large dog park just down the block from the hotel, while the area is surrounded by beautiful tourist attractions. Take your dog out for a walk in downtown Tampa, head on over to Palmetto Beach, or leave Fido behind while enjoying some of the many fine restaurants in the area. You can also take your pup along with you to some restaurants in Tampa!

What can beat a hotel with its own private beach? A dog friendly hotel with its own beach in Tampa, Florida! The Westin Tampa Bay is located on Rocky Island, and is technically an airport hotel, but it has all the luxuries of a beachfront hotel. The hotel features a gorgeous cascading waterfall and easy access to all of the area’s attractions. Dogs weighing up to 45lbs are able to stay at the hotel, and the hotel management places pet owners on the lower floors to make it easier for them to get out to the dedicated dog areas. As is common with dog friendly beach hotels, your pet will be provided with plenty of treats, their own bowl and a pet bed.
If you would prefer to avoid hotels and want to be somewhere a little bit more personal, don’t write off the possibility of renting a beachfront AirBnB. This can give you the comfort of a private dog friendly condominium or house and opens the door to so many more options. Of course, you’ll have to speak with the landlords, as not every AirBnB necessarily welcomes pets.
